I wanted to post some HG blogs because for those who suffer this disease, fighting for your life (and the life of your unborn child) can be a lonely battle:

This blog is written by a very, very smart girl who is currently preparing for a second HG pregnancy. Although we always hope “the next one” won’t be HG, they usually are. BTW, all of the links come from her page. Good work, precious girl.

And I cannot forget Ashli McCall, the incredible woman who did the research, wrote the book, and put the medical comminity to shame. For all those who suffer HG, this is a must-read:

Ashli will get this book into your hands ASAP because she’s awesome like that.
Hang in there. There is so much beautiful life to be lived after surviving HG.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I just keep hoping that by spreading the word and networking within the community we can reach someone who maybe doesn’t have the support they need and plug them in so they can get help.
Best wishes,
Molly
Molly,
I love that you’re doing this. I had no info at all when I lived through the hell of H.G. I recently recognized the symptoms in a co-worker and seeing her suffering brought it all back. This networking idea is absolutely wonderful. I love that new momma’s can have support and be pointed in the right direction. Gatorade saved my life. It was all I had….at the suggestion of my 10 year old son. Medical personnel had no suggestions other than saltines before rising. So much has changed for the better.
